Section of Cost Reporting and Discharge Data Review
Hospital and Patient Statistics

The reports in this section summarize inpatient discharges, emergency department visits and revenue charges reported by state-licensed, non-psychiatric hospitals. They include; 1) raw number counts, 2) unadjusted [straight] averages and 3) unadjusted [straight] percentages.

The data presented have been audited in compliance with the applicable statute (A.R.S. 36-125.05) and rule (R9-11-401 and 402) and have not been altered or manipulated by ADHS personnel in any way.

Please Note: Although accurate reporting is required not all patient information is available or attainable prior to discharge. This oftentimes results in missing or incomplete data (i.e., the number of discharges for patients in the 120 year age group). These anomalies are infrequent and few in number and are not deemed statistically significant.

If, however, you find an error that we have overlooked please let us know! Contact our office at (602) 542-1242 or 542-2960.
