Submitted 725 244 50 ð
Tested 681 240 49 ð

Year to date exposures to lab confirmed rabid animals:  55 humans and approximately 76 domestic animals.

ð Other denominator data: 544 cats, 809 dogs, 34 coyotes, 18 bobcats and 28 raccoons were tested.

∆  The bobcat from Greenlee County was confirmed to be infected with the Arizona gray fox variant. Variant typing for other non-reservoir species was either not done or in progress.

Some animals that are submitted are too decomposed for rabies testing, and thus the number of animals tested per county is considered the denominator.
