As African American men and women, we know how important our community is. We're tight knit. We're powerful. And we want what's best for each other. That includes our children, our grandbabies and our younger brothers and sisters.

Live it. Change it. Because it's time.

How we live our own lives affects our entire community. And if we want to make change, we have to begin by looking at ourselves.

Did you know:

  • The African American community suffers from the highest rates of chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and stroke?
  • African Americans have the highest rate of preventable infant deaths compared to any other race group? Out of those deaths, fifty-nine percent are connected to the mother's health BEFORE pregnancy?

We need to get healthier so that our children are healthier.

It's time to find out what you can do to make a change in your own life. Then it's up to you to share this information with family and friends. Teach them how to take charge of their own lives and help spread the movement throughout our community.

Join the movement here and signup to receive occasional emails from Live It Change It. Be sure and select the "Live It Change It" option.
