microbiological testing for select agents to detect outbreaks of disease, both
natural and intentional. This office is also responsible for the
training of facilities, such as hospitals, throughout the State of
Arizona in the early detection of these agents.
Staff is available at the State Laboratory 7 days a week from 8:00am to 5:00
pm. Testing is also available 24 hours a day on an emergency basis and
can be coordinated with the Office
