Arizona's Centennial Celebration – February 14, 2012
Thousands of people celebrated the state's 100th birthday in the Capitol Mall area. The main stage, capped off by the refurbished copper dome of the Capitol in the background, featured many events throughout the day including Governor Jan Brewer proclaiming Arizona Centennial Day, the dedication of the commemorative Arizona Centennial Stamp and native Arizonan and singer Wayne Newton. The mall was covered from north to south with booths displaying the Arizona of 2012 - including a look at Arizona Health Through the Century.
