Telephone Assisted CPR

  • Telephone-Assisted CPR Rates
  • Telephone-Assisted CPR Times
  • Telephone-Assisted CPR Outcomes
Telephone-Assisted CPR Rates

The above shows increases in the rates (percentages) of (1) dispatcher recognition of the need for CPR, (2) pre-arrival CPR instructions started and (3) telephone-assisted bystander CPR after implementing guideline-based protocol and training instruments for Telephone-Assisted CPR at three 9-1-1 centers in Arizona. All results are statistically significant.

Telephone-Assisted CPR Times

The above shows reductions in time (measured in seconds) from call-receipt to (1) dispatch recognition of the need for CPR, (2) start of dispatch pre-arrival CPR instructions and (3) first dispatch-directed bystander chest compression after implementing guideline-based protocols and training instruments for Telephone-Assisted CPR at three 9-1-1 centers in Arizona. All results are statistically significant.

Telephone-Assited CPR Outcomes
Telephone-Assisted CPR Outcomes
