Vendors – Approved Signage
The Arizona WIC Program has strict rules regarding the labeling of WIC approved foods in the store. Effective July 1, 2013, a Vendor's declared store or house brand of refrigerated cow's milk, cheese, and eggs must be identified utilizing the Department approved shelf markers. Vendors have three options for the shelf markers:

Department Issued Markers
"WIC Approved" orange shelf markers are the shelf markers currently available to Arizona WIC authorized Vendors. To order markers, call 1-866-737-3935 or use the Vendor Order Form.
Department Approved Printable Markers
Vendors may print the new "WIC Approved" markers, which include space for entering the size, brand, and type of item being identified. The Arizona WIC shelf markers must be printed in color using Avery 5160 labels (or similar); no exceptions. To print the Department Approved Printable Markers, follow the instructions below.

Department Approved Graphic
Vendors may be allowed to use the "WIC Approved" graphic to develop their own shelf markers. All vendor-developed shelf markers must be submitted to the Department for pre-approval before they are implemented in their store(s). Note: The Arizona WIC shelf marker must be printed in color (orange) and no larger than 1 inch by 1 inch in size; no exceptions. Please provide a sample to the Department for prior-approval.
